Counselling Services

Will counselling help me?

It's completely natural to wonder if counselling is the right step for you.

Your human experience is unique, and getting the right support can provide a space to explore your feelings and experiences in a way that might bring clarity, healing, or simply a sense of relief.

Finding what works best for you is key, and my role is to support you through that journey.

Counselling isn't just for the tough times.

It’s also a meaningful way to grow, explore new perspectives, and build on the good things in life. Even when things feel steady, counselling provides a space to get to know yourself better, set personal goals, and find a sense of balance that truly fits you.

It’s a chance to work on relationships, understand what drives you, and develop tools to handle life’s twists and turns with more confidence and clarity. So, whether you’re looking to overcome a challenge or simply want to invest in yourself, counselling can be a valuable part of your journey.

If you’ve arrived here, you might be looking for support—an important and meaningful first step.

I specialise in grief and bereavement, loss in all its forms, and anxiety, I also have extensive experience guiding adults through a wide range of challenges.

Anxiety Support

Everyday life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leading to anxiety and stress as you juggle the demands of work, family, and relationships. Past experiences and events may be lingering in your mind, preventing you from fully enjoying life or living the life that you want.

You might be going through menopause and struggling to manage feelings of anxiety and the additional pressures that come with this challenging phase.

Anxiety can often seem unbearable, leaving you unsure of how to cope or move forward. Counselling can help you process your experiences and build resilience, empowering you to reclaim your sense of control and well-being.

Bereavement Support

If you are grieving, extra support during this incredibly difficult time can be invaluable. Counselling provides a confidential space so you can process complex emotions and give yourself time to express how you truly feel when these feelings may feel difficult to share openly with family or friends.

Starting your journey with an experienced and qualified counsellor can bring emotional healing and help you navigate the pain of loss at your own pace. While this is undoubtedly a challenging time, you can find purpose and meaning again, which can lead to living a life of purpose, embracing the connections you have, and accepting loss as an integral part of your journey.

Supporting you through loss...

Loss can take many forms. While bereavement is often what first comes to mind, loss can stem from various experiences, such as losing a job, a beloved pet, a relationship, or even your home. We still grieve these losses, and counselling can provide a supportive space to explore these feelings and find healing, acceptance, and a way forward.

You don’t have to face this journey alone. Please take a moment to explore the Counselling Services I offer, and explore how I can support you.
